Cheesy Bacon Muffins

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Mix first 7 ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Stir in cheese, bacon bits and onions.
  4. Mix egg and buttermilk in small bowl; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  5. Spoon batter evenly into 12 muffin cups that have been sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan on top of each muffin.
  7. Bake 20 to 22 min.
  8. or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan 5 min; remove muffins to wire rack; cool completely.
  10. Store in airtight container up to 2 days.
