Cheesy Bacon Muffins
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. each dried oregano leaves and basil leaves
- 1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Old Cheddar Cheese
- 1/3 cup Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 egg
- 1-1/2 cups buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp. Kraft 100% Parmesan Aged Grated Cheese
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Mix first 7 ingredients in large bowl.
- Stir in cheese, bacon bits and onions.
- Mix egg and buttermilk in small bowl; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
- Spoon batter evenly into 12 muffin cups that have been sprayed with cooking spray.
- Sprinkle Parmesan on top of each muffin.
- Bake 20 to 22 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 5 min; remove muffins to wire rack; cool completely.
- Store in airtight container up to 2 days.
