Greek Sesame Bread
- 1/4 cup milk, lukewarm
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 7/8 oz. yeast
- 1 cup graham flour
- 2-1/2 cup white flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp. thyme
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 1 egg white
- Mix together the flour, milk, oil, salt, herbs and yeast.
- Let the dough rise to double the size (about 30 minutes).
- Fold the dough in half, twist the dough and place in a bread pan.
- Let rise for another 20 minutes.
- Gently brush the dough with egg white and scatter the sesame seeds atop the bread.
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes in a 420F preheated oven.
