Chasen'S Famous Chili

  1. Wash beans and place in a bowl.
  2. Add cold water to two-inches above beans.
  3. Soak overnight.
  4. Simmer, covered, in same water until tender.
  5. Add tomatoes and simmer five minutes.
  6. Saute green peppers slowly in salad oil for five minutes.
  7. Add onion and cook until tender, stirring frequently.
  8. Add garlic and parsley.
