French Toast & Sausage
- 1/4 cup cholesterol-free egg product (or packaged egg whites)
- 1 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 oz. LOUIS RICH Turkey Sausage
- 8 fl oz (1 cup) orange juice
- Mix egg substitute, sugar, and cinnamon in a shallow, flat container that will hold 2 slices of bread lying next to each other in the container.
- Place bread on top of mixture.
- Flip and coat the other side after coating one side with mixture.
- Allow bread to sit in mixture for a few moments to soak it up.
- Heat nonstick skillet sprayed with vegetable oil spray over medium high heat.
- Place egg-soaked bread in hot skillet.
- Cook each side until lightly browned.
- Heat low-fat turkey breakfast sausage according to package instructions.
- ENJOY a glass of VERYFINE orange juice to this meal.
