Chocolate Fudge Crackles

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  4. Add egg yolks and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed.
  5. Add flour, cocoa and baking soda; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  6. Combine chopped pecans and large grain sugar in bowl.
  7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls with floured hands.
  8. Roll balls of dough in egg white, then in pecan mixture.
  9. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  10. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
  11. Let stand 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
