Cabbage and Noodles
- 1 package Wide Egg Noodles
- 8 Tablespoons Sweet Salted Butter (1 Stick)
- 1 whole Onion, Diced
- 1 whole Green Cabbage, Cored And Cut Into Ribbons
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt, Divided
- 1 teaspoon Fennel Seeds (optional)
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
- Drain and set aside.
- While noodles are cooking, place butter in a medium-high skillet and melt.
- Add onion and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add cabbage and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add 1 teaspoon garlic salt and fennel seeds, if desired.
- Cook for an additional 15 minutes until onions are caramelized and cabbage is lightly browned and tender.
- Add cabbage to the noodle mixture and stir to combine.
- Warm them together and add the additional teaspoon of garlic salt to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
- This can be addictive!
