Gin On Gin Julep

  1. Muddle the mint leaves and mint syrup in the bottom of a rocks or Old Fashioned glass.
  2. Fill the glass with large cold ice cubes.
  3. Pour in the genever and Plymouth gin.
  4. Add the club soda.
  5. Garnish with the mint sprig.
  6. Dominant Flavors: strong fresh mint
  7. Body: medium to high
  8. Dryness: off-dry
  9. Complexity: high, subtle complexity
  10. Accentuating or Contrasting Flavors: malt and juniper round the base
  11. Finish: sweet with lingering mint overtones
  12. Glass: rocks
