Graveyard Gelatin Dessert

  1. Mix 1-1/2 cups of the wafer crumbs, the sugar and butter in 13x9-inch pan.
  2. Press firmly onto bottom of pan.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  4. Beat cream cheese in medium bowl until creamy.
  5. Gently stir in half of the whipped topping; spread evenly over crust.
  6. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl 2 min.
  7. until completely dissolved.
  8. Add enough ice cubes to cold water to measure 1-1/2 cups.
  9. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened.
  10. Discard any unmelted ice.
  11. Spoon gelatin over cream cheese layer.
  12. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  13. Spread remaining whipped topping over gelatin layer just before serving.
  14. Sprinkle with remaining wafer crumbs.
  15. Decorate sandwich cookies with icings to resemble tombstones; insert into top of dessert to resemble a graveyard.
  16. Scatter candies over top of dessert.
  17. Store any leftover dessert in refrigerator.
