Easy Honey Garlic Sesame Chicken
- 8 ounces, weight Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast, Cut Into Bite Sized Cubes
- 1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 whole Egg, Whisked
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Chopped Scallions For Garnish
- Sesame Seeds, For Garnish
- 1/2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- 1/4 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/4 teaspoons Sesame Seeds
- For the honey garlic sesame chicken: Preheat oven to 400 F. Season the chicken cubes with salt and pepper.
- Put the flour, egg and panko breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.
- Dredge the chicken in the flour, then in the egg and then in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Line chicken onto a large rimmed baking sheet that youve lined with a silicon baking mat.
- Place pan in the oven and bake for 15 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
- While its baking make the sauce.
- When chicken is done, take pan out of the oven and toss chicken with the Honey Garlic Sesame Sauce.
- Top with scallions and sesame seeds for garnish if desired.
- Serve immediately as an appetizer or with rice to make it a meal.
- For the honey garlic sesame sauce: Add the vegetable oil into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for one minute.
- Stir in honey, sesame oil, canola oil, soy sauce, red pepper flakes and sesame seeds.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook until thickened.
- Set aside until ready to toss with chicken.
