Betty Crocker Easy Turtle Candy Recipe

• 4 ounce Pecan halves (about 72)
• 24 x Caramel candies
• 1 tsp Shortening
• 6 ounce Semi-sweet chocolate chips

1. Heat oven to 300 .
2. Cover cookies sheet with aluminum foil, shiny side up; lightly grease.
3. For each candy, place 3 pecan halves in a "Y" shape on foil.
4. Place 1 caramel candy in center of each "Y".
5. Bake just till caramel is melted, about 9 - 10 min.
6. Heat shortening and chocolate chips over low heat just till chocolate is melted.
7. Spread over candies and chill 30 min.
