Baked Cheese Grits

  1. Stir grits slowly into boiling water.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  3. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until grits begin to thicken.
  4. Stir in sandwich spread and eggs.
  5. Add 2 of the process cheese slices; stir until completely melted.
  6. Add garlic powder, salt and paprika.
  7. Pour into 9-inch square nonstick baking pan
  8. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
  9. Cut remaining 4 process cheese slices into small squares; arrange on top of grits.
  10. Bake an additional 3 minutes or until process cheese is melted.
  11. Cool 1 hour.
  12. Cut into 2-inch squares.
