Fried Golden Needles

  1. Dip each flower in the beaten egg.
  2. Roll it in flour.
  3. Saute the coated flowers in hot oil until crispy.
  4. Enjoy!
  5. This recipe works just as well with frozen daylilies as with fresh.
  6. A real treat to have in midwinter.
