Stovetop Casserole
- 1 whole Onion, Sliced
- 3 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 1 whole Any Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 1/2 pounds Beef Sirloin Cut Into Strips
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 can Stewed Diced Tomatoes
- 3 pieces Beef Bouillon Cube
- 1 can Sliced Mushrooms, Or 1 Cup Fresh Sliced
- 12 ounces, weight Flat Noodle
- Saute onion, garlic and bell pepper till tender.
- Add beef, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt and salt and pepper.
- Cook til beef is just brown.
- Add stewed tomatoes, bouillon, mushrooms and 3 cups of water.
- Simmer covered, stirring often for about 1/2 hour, then add noodles.
- Cook about 10 mins.
- uncovered.
- Stir often.
- If you need to thicken sauce, add 2 tablespoons cornstarch to 6 tablespoons cold water and stir til thickened.
- Serve with biscuits or french bread.
