Stovetop Casserole

  1. Saute onion, garlic and bell pepper till tender.
  2. Add beef, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt and salt and pepper.
  3. Cook til beef is just brown.
  4. Add stewed tomatoes, bouillon, mushrooms and 3 cups of water.
  5. Simmer covered, stirring often for about 1/2 hour, then add noodles.
  6. Cook about 10 mins.
  7. uncovered.
  8. Stir often.
  9. If you need to thicken sauce, add 2 tablespoons cornstarch to 6 tablespoons cold water and stir til thickened.
  10. Serve with biscuits or french bread.
