Beef and Mushroom Stew
- 1-1/2 lb. cubed chuck steak
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup chopped shallots
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp. rosemary
- 1 tbsp. parsley
- 1/4 cup wine
- Salt and Pepper
- Melt butter in a large pot.
- Brown beef over medium-high heat.
- Sprinkle with rosemary, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Add shallots.
- Add soup, broth, wine.
- Simmer covered on low for 1 hour or until meat is very tender.
