Mira's Basic Scones
- 260 grams Plain Flour
- 50 grams Castor Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 75 grams Butter (softened)
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 120 ml Full cream milk OR Heavy cream
- Preheat oven to 190c for 10 minutes.
- Sift flour with baking powder.
- Cream butter, sugar and salt until fluffy and well-combined.
- Add in egg, continue mixing until well combined.
- Add in vanilla.
- Gradually add in milk, a tablespoon at a time.
- Shape the dough into balls, and bake for 30 minutes.
