Chocolate Bourbon Balls

  1. Melt chocolate over hot water, remove from heat.
  2. Add corn syrup and bourbon.
  3. In a large bowl, combine vanilla, wafer crumbs, confectioner's sugar and nuts.
  4. Add chocolate mixture, mix well.
  5. Let stand about 30 minutes.
  6. Form into 1 inch balls.
  7. Roll in granulated sugar.
  8. Allow bals to mellow in covered container for several days before serving.
