Whole Wheat Yeast Rolls Recipe
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 3 c. sifted whole wheat flour
- 4 c. sifted white flour
- Put sugar, butter and 1 1/2 c. warm water in large bowl and set aside to cold.
- Place yeast in 1/2 c. hot water.
- As soon as first mix has cooled to lukewarm, add in beaten Large eggs.
- Add in yeast mix then stir in 1/2 flour and salt.
- Mix till smooth.
- Then add in rest of flour and knead well.
- Let raise till double.
- Punch down and cut into rolls.
- Let raise again.
- Bake at 350 degrees till brown.
