Strickly Sourdough Bread
- 5-1/2 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/8 cup olive oil
- 3 cups active starter
- In a Kitchen Aid mixer with dough hook combine all dry.
- In a bowl you can pour out of mix all liquid at room temp.
- On stirr pour liquid in at a moderate pace.
- add water/flour as needed to make a soft dough.
- Knead for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Form a dough ball and place in greased bowl.
- cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm spot for 2 to 2.5 hours.
- When doubled in size divide into four peices and form four rounds.
- place on lighty greased and corn mealed cookie sheet.
- Cover with a towel and place in a warm spot for another 2 to 2.5 hours.
- Brush with water and slash an # in the top.
- Bake at 400F for 20 to 25 minutes or internal temp of 190F.
- Cool and enjoy.
