Simone's Famous Xmas Meat Pie

  1. Boil 3 to 4 hours til meat is falling apart and most of the water is gone.
  2. Taste and add seasonings to liking.
  3. Leave meat overnite and skim fat off in the morning.
  4. Fill pie shells and top with pastry cutting slits.
  5. Bake 40 minutes at 425F.
  6. Makes 4- 9" pies.
  7. Prep time does not include overnite step.
  8. Cook time includes the boiling and baking.
