Gram's Pecan Pie
- 1 (9 inch) pastry dough
- 3 eggs
- 23 cup white sugar
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 13 cup butter, melted
- 14 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecan halves
- Beat the eggs lightly.
- Add remaining ingredients and beat just until foamy.
- Mix in pecan halves.
- Pour into 9" pastry lined pie plate.
- Bake 40-50 minutes at 400 or until set and pastry is nicely browned.
- Let cool before serving.
