Michael's Favorite Baked Stuffed Pork Chops Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. With a sharp knife, cut meat next to bone of each pork chop horizontally to create a pocket.
  3. Sprinkle meat on both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat in butter, cook celery, onions and garlic till tender, about 5 min.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in bread, egg, and 1/2 tsp.
  6. salt till well mixed.
  7. Stuff each pork chops with stuffing.
  8. Arrange pork chops in one layer on rack in open roasting pan.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 min or possibly till fork tender.
  10. No need to turn pork chops.
