Chile Nut Honey W/Cheese
- 14 cup walnuts
- 12 cup honey
- 34 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 14 teaspoon chili pepper
- 4 ounces soft fresh goat cheese or 4 ounces blue cheese
- crusty bread or cracker
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In shallow baking pan toast walnuts for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool slightly; chop coarsely.
- In a bowl, stir together the nuts, honey and ground pepper.
- To serve, bring cheese to room temperature.
- Serve w/honey mixture and crusty bread.
