Breakfast Barley Recipe

  1. Put the orange juice & water into a pan.
  2. Add in the apricots cut into small pcs & the spice.
  3. Bring to a boil & add in the barley.
  4. Cover & simmer for about 1 hour, till the barley is tender.
  5. Add in more orange juice if necessary.
  6. The liquid should be absorbed when the barley is ready.
  7. Stir in the margarine & the nuts if using.
  8. Serve warm either as is or possibly with a splash of soymilk.
