Cameros Cheese and Apple Pastries With Honey Ice Cream

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Finely chop the cheese and heat in a double saucepan with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup cream, stirring constantly until a smooth mixture forms.
  3. Roll out the pastry and cut into 6 rectangles.
  4. Make a few holes in it with a fork.
  5. Spread over the cheese mixture and arrange the sliced apple on top.
  6. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. In a small pan, heat 1/2 cup of water with the honey, stir until well-mixed and runny and let cool.
  8. Serve topped pastries with a spoonful of ice cream topped honey sauce.
