Prawns in Parsley Sauce
- 2 tsp garlic powder (add as litte or as much as you prefer)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 kg Prawns (shrimp)
- 2 tbsp whiskey
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 large handful of parsley, chopped finely (added about 3 tablespoons but you can add as much as you want)
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce, chilli oil or fresh chilli's (optional)
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a frying pan on a medium heat.
- Add the prawns, garlic powder, hot sauce and salt.
- Cook for about a minute stirring often.
- Add the whiskey and lemon juice and cook for a further minute or so.
- Then add the parsley and cook for about 2 minutes or until the prawns are done.
- Check seasoning.
- Serve immediately with bread.
