Bland Dal Chawal Recipe

  1. Pressure cook washed dal in 2 c. water.
  2. (Approx.
  3. 4 whistles)
  4. Beat dal with hand beater until smooth and frothy.
  5. Heat ghee, add in seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves.
  6. Add in turmeric and dal.
  7. Add in remaining ingredients.
  8. Boil and simmer for 3-4 min.
  9. Serve warm with steamed warm rice.

  13. Best in: ailments like fever, ulcers and acidity.
