Smothered Cube Steaks
- 1 packages beef cubed steak
- 1 each black pepper, garlic powder, lawrys season salt (or ur choice of seasonings)
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 large onion(sliced thin)
- 1 cup oil
- 2 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- heat oil in a medium size pan on medium heat
- season steaks then dredge them in flour
- once oil is heated add steaks to oil and cook until well done about 5 mins on each side
- when steaks are done remove from pan and let drain on paper towels
- pour oil out leaving about 1/8 cup of oil and the pan dripping in the pan
- add onions to the pan and cook until translucent
- add soup and milk, stirring bring to a boil let cook for 5 mins
- add steaks back to pan covering them in soup mixture
- reduce heat to really low cover and simmer for 15 mins
- when done add salt and pepper on top for taste then enjoy!
- I serve these over white rice!
