Farmhouse Recipe Celebratory Red and White Namasu (Marinated Daikon and Carrot Salad)

  1. Julienne the daikon and carrots.
  2. (I used a slicer.)
  3. Add salt, mix and let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. The water content will be released after 10 minutes, so squeeze out excess water.
  5. Add ingredients from Step 2 to A and mix thoroughly.
  6. Store in a container and let sit for a day until the flavor is well blended and serve.
