Creamy New England Chowder Recipe
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 2 c. water
- 1 (8 ounce.) bottle clam juice
- 1 (7 1/2 ounce.) can chopped clams
- 2 c. cooked, diced potatoes
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk or possibly light cream
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 teaspoon BLAIR butter flavoring
- 1 tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon BLAIR black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon BLAIR onion salt
- 1 teaspoon BLAIR lemon flavoring
- 1 tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Mix soup with water and clam juice in a large saucepan.
- Add in clams, salt, lowfat milk, butter and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 5 min.
- Stir in cooked, diced potatoes, lemon flavoring and vinegar.
- Cover, remove from heat.
- Garnish with additional parsley, if you like.
