Savory Italian Noodle Casserole
- 1 cup mostaccioli, uncooked
- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 lb. (16 oz.) VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, brown meat with green peppers and onions in large skillet.
- Add tomatoes, water, tomato paste and black pepper; mix well.
- Layer half each of the pasta.
- meat sauce and VELVEETA in 13x9-inch baking dish; repeat layers.
- Bake 30 min.
- or until heated through.
