Minted Peas

  1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of lightly salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the peas and the sugar.
  3. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, or until tender.
  4. Drain, fold in the butter, salt and pepper to taste, and the mint.
  5. Serve at once.
