Kotlet
- 2 medium potatos
- 250 grams lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, shredded
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup breadcrums
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- Boil potatoes
- Shred onion from the top so that it doesn't fall apart in you hands.
- Separate the onion from the onion juice.
- Discard all except for 2 tablespoons of onion juice.
- Cool down potatoes in cold water.
- Peel potatoes.
- Mash potatoes in a large bowl.
- Beat eggs in a separate bowl.
- Add beaten eggs to mashed potatoes.
- Mix together.
- Add ground beef to onion and remaining onion juice.
- Mix.
- Add cinnamon and mix well.
- Add beef mixture to potato mixture.
- Mix together.
- Then add flour and other spices.
- Mix well.
- Meanwhile, heat some olive oil in a large pan.
- Roll mixture into balls.
- Roll the balls in breadcrumbs and then flatten with hand.
- Add to pan on medium/high heat.
- Flip and fry on other side.
- Serve.
