Best Cranberry Relish Recipe
- 16 ounce fresh cranberries
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. cranberry juice
- 1/2 c. fresh orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange zest
- Combine ingredients in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat till the berries pop open (about 10 min).
- Skim the foam off the surface with a metal spoon and throw away.
- Cold to room temperature.
- Chill, covered, for up to 3 months.
- This recipe yields 10 servings.
- Comments: Fresh orange juice always makes the best cranberry relish.
- Zest whole oranges before squeezing them for juice.
