Asparagus Oriental

  1. Heat skillet or wok; add oil and gingerroot.
  2. When ginger is hot, romove.
  3. Slice asparagus, on a slant, in 1 1/2 inch pieces; add to oil.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cover.
  5. Lift skillet slightly above heat and shake constantly while cooking.
  6. Cook 4 to 5 minutes utnil crisp tender.
  7. Add toasted almonds.
