Asian Pork Stew Recipe

  1. Heat oil in Dutch oven or possibly large saucepan over medium-high heat till warm.
  2. Add in pork, onion and garlic; cook till pork is brown.
  3. Stir in 2 c. water, bouillon and soy sauce.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 min.
  6. Add in celery, bell pepper , green beans, water chestnuts and mushrooms.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat; cover and simmer an additional 5-10 min or possibly till vegetables are done.
  9. Combine 1/4 c. water and cornstarch.
  10. Gradually add in to vegetable mix, stirring constantly.Cook and stir till thickened.
  11. Serve over rice.
