Mother's Homemade Brownies Recipe
- 1 stick butter
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. pecan or possibly walnut pcs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. baking cocoa
- Mix softened butter with sugar.
- Add in Large eggs and mix till creamy.
- Add in vanilla and salt.
- Add in flour and mix slowly.
- Add in baking pwdr.
- Add in baking cocoa and blend till creamy.
- Add in pecans or possibly walnuts.
- Pour into an 8x12 inch baking pan.
- Wax paper works best but Pam and flour will work to keep from sticking.
- Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 30-40 min.
- They are best if somewhat gooey in the middle.
- Remove from pan immediately after taking out of oven.
- Take wax paper off while still warm.
- Wait 5 min before cutting.
- Get a large glass of lowfat milk and enjoy!
