Crabmeat Filled Avocado

  1. Cut avocados in half lengthwise and remove pit.
  2. Sprinkle with lemon juice and salt.
  3. Place in a greased baking dish.
  4. In a bowl combine crabmeat, celery, eggs, pimiento, onion, salt and mayonnaise.
  5. Spoon this mixture into avocado halves.
  6. Combine bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle mixture over crabmeat mixture.
  7. Bake at 400F for 10 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle almonds on top.
  9. Bake for 5 more minutes until avocado is tender.
  10. Serve immediately.
