A Quick Soup With A Whole Sweet Onion
- 3 Onions
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 cm round slices Carrot
- 1 rasher Bacon
- 2 tsp Consomme soup stock granules
- 10 grams Butter
- Peel the onions and carve a shallow X on the top of the onions.
- Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 10 minutes (at 500 W).
- Mince the garlic and julienne the carrots.
- Cut the bacon into 1 cm strips.
- Melt butter in a pot and add the garlic.
- When fragrant, add the bacon and carrots.
- Add 600 ml of water, consomme and cooked onions.
- Cut out a sheet of aluminum foil into the size of the pot and place it on top of the onions.
- Simmer until the onions are very tender.
- Serve on a plate, and it's done!
