Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Blue Cheese Slaw
- 4-1/2 cups coleslaw blend (cabbage slaw mix)
- 1-1/2 cups celery, cut into 2-inch-long thin matchsticks
- 2-1/4 cups Kraft Gourmet Blue Cheese Dressing, divided
- 24 each frozen chicken patties (without breading)
- 3 cups Bull's-Eye Raging Buffalo Wing Sauce
- 24 each cornmeal-topped Italian-style hamburger buns
- 24 pieces green leaf lettuce leaves
- 48 slices tomatoes, 1/4-inch thick slices
- Combine coleslaw blend, celery and 3/4 cup (175 mL) dressing (or 2 Tbsp.
- 30 mL dressing for trial recipe).
- Refrigerate until ready to use, or up to 1 day ahead of time.
- For each serving: Grill 1 chicken patty on medium-high heat 6 to 8 min.
- or until nicely browned.
- Turn patty over; brush with 2 Tbsp.
- (30 mL) Buffalo wing sauce.
- Cook 6 to 8 min.
- or until done (165 degrees F/74 degrees C).
- Grill bun 1 min.
- or just until toasted, turning frequently,
- Spread 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) dressing onto top half of bun.
- Fill bun with 1 lettuce leaf, 2 tomato slices, 1 burger and 1/4 cup (50 mL) slaw mixture.
