Chrysanthemum Green Beef Wraps

  1. Blanch the chrysanthemum greens and maitake mushrooms briefly in boiling water.
  2. Let cool in cold water, then drain.
  3. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon soy sauce on each (unlisted) and set aside for 3 minutes.
  4. Squeeze out any excess water.
  5. Spread out the beef, and place them horizontally on your workplace.
  6. Place the chrysanthemum greens and maitake mushrooms towards your body, and roll up tightly.
  7. Skewer with a toothpick.
  8. Coat thinly with flour.
  9. Combine all condiments.
  10. Heat oil in a pan.
  11. Align the beef wraps, and roll them around as you cook.
  12. When the beef browns, use a paper towel to pat dry excess oil in the pan.
  13. Add the condiments (from Step 3) and simmer briefly.
  14. Remove the picks and serve.
  15. It looks pretty if you scatter white sesame seeds.
