Texas Shrimp Boil Recipe
- 2 pound Texas shrimp (26-30)
- 1 1/2 ounce. prepared shrimp boil
- 1 sm. sliced onion
- 1 sliced lemon
- 1 clove sliced garlic
- 2 tbsp. salt
- Place 1 1/2 qt water in large boiler pot.
- Add in remaining ingredients except shrimp.
- Cover and bring to a boil.
- Add in shrimp and return to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 min till shrimp are tender and pink.
- Drain.
- Serve with Red Sauce.
- Red Sauce: 1 c. catsup, stir in 1 tsp.
- horseradish and a little lemon juice to taste.
