Broccoli Cheese Soup Recipe
- 2 cans cream of potato soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 pt. chicken broth
- 2 Packages frzn minced broccoli, cooked according to pkg. directions and liquid removed
- 8 ounce. grated American cheese (a little more is better)
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 sm. onion, minced
- 3 grated carrots
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Combine soups, broth, broccoli and cheese in slow cooker on low.
- Saute/fry onion and carrots in butter.
- Add in to ingredients in slow cooker and heat till cheese is melted.
- Don't overcook.
- The cheese will scorch.
- This soup can be made on the stove top, just be sure to stir often to prevent scorching.
