Vicki Lynn's Apple Butter - apple butter

• 8 cups (1900 ml) applesauce
• 6 cups (1425 ml) sugar
• 4 tsp (20 ml). cinnamon
• 2 tsp (10 ml). cloves
• 1 tsp (5 ml). allspice

1. Mix all ingredients, put mixture in a crock-pot.
2. Cook on high 4 hours with lid on.
3. Cook another 4 hours with the lid off; stir occasionally.
4. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
