Stir-fried Potatoes and Chikuwa Fish Sticks with Sesame Seeds, Mayonnaise and Lemon

  1. Peel the potatoes and slice into 5 mm and then julienne into 5 mm batons.
  2. Cut the chikuwa in half and slice into the same size as the potatoes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil (not listed) in a pan and fry the potatoes for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the chikuwa and fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add mayonnaise into Step 2 and stir.
  6. Add soy sauce, ground sesame seeds and black pepper, fry and stir.
  7. Add the lemon juice and stir quickly.
  8. Transfer onto a serving dish.
  9. Sprinkle with dried parsley as a colourful garnish (optional).
  10. Serve.
