Stir-fried Potatoes and Chikuwa Fish Sticks with Sesame Seeds, Mayonnaise and Lemon
- 2 to 3 Potatoes medium-sized (about 250 grams)
- 3 Pan-roasted scallops
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Ground sesame seeds
- 1 Coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- Peel the potatoes and slice into 5 mm and then julienne into 5 mm batons.
- Cut the chikuwa in half and slice into the same size as the potatoes.
- Heat vegetable oil (not listed) in a pan and fry the potatoes for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chikuwa and fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add mayonnaise into Step 2 and stir.
- Add soy sauce, ground sesame seeds and black pepper, fry and stir.
- Add the lemon juice and stir quickly.
- Transfer onto a serving dish.
- Sprinkle with dried parsley as a colourful garnish (optional).
- Serve.
