cuban french toast

  1. pre heat oven to 325F.
  2. stir sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl add eggs whisking until blended mix in evaporated milk, marmalade and vanilla
  3. cut bread on a diagonal into 16 1/4 inch thick slices
  4. add 1/2 of the bread slices to egg mixture and soak for about 2 minutes on each side
  5. heat oil in a large non stick skillet
  6. remove soaked bread from egg mixture cook in hot oil untill golden brown on each side
  7. place cooked french toast on a foil lined baking sheet
  8. repeat to prepare and cook remaining french toast
  9. bake for 10 minutes and serve drizzled with sweetened condensed milk
