Healthy Firm Tofu Hamburgers

  1. Wrap the tofu in a paper towel and let sit for 30 minutes to drain the excess water.
  2. Finely julienne the carrot and finely chop the green onion.
  3. In a bowl, combine the drained tofu, carrot, green onion, chirimen jako, canned tuna, and sesame seeds.
  4. Mix all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Flatten out the mixed mixture into round patties, heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry both sides of the patties until golden brown.
  6. Pour the combined sauce over the patties in one go.
  7. Simmer until the sauce thickens and the patties are well coated.
