Chocolate Cherry Nut Holiday Glazed Loaf Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease and flour bottom of 8x4 or 9x5 loaf pan.
  3. In large bowl combine liquid ingredients, chocolate chips, pecans, cherries, and bread mix from box .
  4. Stir by hand until mixture is moist, and no dry ingredients remain.
  5. Pour into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 65 to 80 minutes for 8x4 pan, 60 to 70 minutes for 9x5 pan or until toothpick inserted in is clean.
  7. Cool on wire wrack for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from pan.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. Glaze:.
  11. In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, oil and Karo Syrup, stirring until smooth.
  12. Drizzle and frost fruitcake.
  13. Allow glaze to set in refrigerator.
