Easy Hamburger Gravy
- 1 package Ground Beef (1 1/2 To 2 Pound Package)
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 2 packages Dry Brown Gravy Mix (0.87 Ounce Packets, I Use McCormick)
- 1- 3/4 cup Water
- Brown ground beef with chopped onion over medium heat.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- When meat is browned and onions are softened, drain the grease (if necessary).
- Add dry gravy mixes and water, stir well.
- Bring to a low boil then simmer over low until gravy thickens (if you prefer more gravy, add more water and a little cornstarch).
- Serve over mashed potatoes.
- Sometimes I make the potatoes from scratch, but usually I make the flake variety.
- This is one of those meals that can be made in minutes.
