Chicken Stew With Dumplings Recipe
- 1 chicken, cleaned and cut up
- 2 cloves garlic, minced up
- 1 onion, minced up
- 1 pkg. frzn stewing vegetables
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste
- Place chicken in a large pot with water filling about 3/4 the pot.
- Add in salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, garlic and onion.
- Cook till chicken is done.
- Then add in frzn stewing vegetables till tender.
- When the chicken and vegetables are finished cooking, mix 2 c. of Bisquick and 2/3 of lowfat milk in a separate bowl.
- Spoon dumplings out over stew let it cook for 10 min with lid on, then cook for 10 min with lid off.
- When finished shut off and let it stand for 5-10 min.
