Taco Pasta
- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed and softened
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 18 jumbo pasta shells, cooked, rinsed and drained
- 1 c. sour cream
- 3 green onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 c. taco sauce
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 1/2 c. crushed tortilla chips
- Cook beef, add cream cheese, salt and chili powder and simmer. Toss shells with butter, fill with beef mixture.
- Arrange in buttered pan.
- Pour sauce over each shell.
- Cover with foil, bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Uncover, top with cheeses and chips, bake 15 minutes more, until bubbly.
- Top with sour cream and onions. May be garnished with lettuce, black olives and tomatoes.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
